The Phoenix Club


The Phoenix Club is a forum for personal development, one to one support - at home, in the community, at the Club, socialising or somewhere to have a meal in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Other activities include:

  • developing computer skills, relaxed cooking and sewing skills
  • information and support for finding out about volunteering and employment vacancies
  • crafts
  • trips

    A user-led service for those with mental health problems
    Referral can be made via:
  • self-referral
  • G.P.
  • Community Mental Health Team
  • an outside agency

    Opening times:

    Monday: 10am � 4pm
    Tuesday: 10am � 4pm
    Wednesday: 10am � 4pm
    Thursday: 10.45am � 4pm
    Friday: 10am � 4pm
    Saturday: 11am � 2pm


    Contact the Phoenix Club at the address / telephone number above for more details � leaflets are available for more information. If coming to the Club for the first time:
  • there is staff support available for e.g. being picked up, on the first few visits
  • have someone accompany you for support � family, friend, support worker etc.
