The service provides free, confidential, one-to-one support for adults aged between 18-65 who are suffering from, or recovering from, a mental health problem. A worker will guide individuals through education, employment and voluntary work opportunities in Edinburgh and, as required, accompany them on initial visits. Other services include cv preparation, assistance with application forms, mock interviews and job searches. Links to information and advice on benefits, student finance and disability discrimination are also available. The service is tailored to work at the individuals own pace, and ongoing support and advice is provided as required.

Self-referral is encouraged, although individuals are often referred via a Community Psychiatric Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Support Worker.

: The project is funded by the City of Edinburgh Council, through the Mental Health Specific Grant.
