Fife Families Support
We exist to promote the health and wellbeing of people in Fife caring for a relative or friend with severe mental ill health. We do this through providing: 1. Support for carers one-to-one and/or through support groups 2. Reliable, quality and accessible information for carers 3. Opportunities for meaningful activity with the project 4. Facilitation of carers involvement in the planning and evaluation of mental health services 5. Building the capacity of other services to respond appropriately to the needs of carers.
The service is open to anyone in Fife with a relative or close friend experiencing mental ill health. You can get in touch yourself or get a friend or professional to contact us on your behalf. Support and information can be given on the telephone, in the office, in your home, by post and/or by e-mail whatever suits you best.
The office is normally open from 9.30am to 5.00pm. However, appointments can be made for evenings or weekends if that is more convenient for you.
Contact Stuart Pryde or Lynda Sloan by telephone, letter, e-mail or calling in.
